The pool is below the road not far from farm Hörgshlíðarbær. The water comes from three hoses two hot and one cold, which is used to cool off the pool. The temperature is 40 °C. At the end of the pool there is a small changing facility with 8 hangers and 12 nails to hang up clothes. This pool attracts many visitors per day. The pool is owned by the farmers in Hörgshlíð.
